Fish

   Today we start studying fishes. The main characteristics of fishes are:

  1. They are vertebrates.
  2. They are oviparous, they are born from eggs.
  3. They have scales.
  4. They breathe with gills.
  5. They can be carnivores (eat other animals or meat), herbivores (eat plants) or omnivores (eat both).
  6. They have fins.
  7. They live in the water so they can swim.

  Today we start studying birds. The main characteristics of birds are:

  1. They are vertebrates.
  2. They are oviparous, they are born from eggs.
  3. They have a beak and feathers.
  4. They breathe with lungs.
  5. They can be carnivores (eat meat), herbivores (eat plants) or omnivores (eat both).
  6. They have 2 wings to fly.

 Today we start studying mammals. The main characteristics of mammals are:

  2. They are viviparous, they are born from their mother's womb.
  3. They drink milk when they are babies.
  4. They have hair or fur.
  5. They breathe with lungs.
  6. They can be carnivores (eat meat), herbivores (eat plants) or omnivores (eat both).
